Due South Knives is the in-house brand for Olde Towne Cutlery. This knife is our pattern, made here in-house at Olde Towne. Due South Knives Cumberland Island drop point in a smoked curly maple wood handle with black liners and orange pinstripes. Made with 1/8″ 1075 carbon steel it has a 3 3/8″ hollow ground blade with a ‘worn-in’ finish and an 8 1/2″ OAL. This handmade Due South pattern comes with a leather belt sheath. We have named the Due South patterns based on various points of interest and places we have visited. This pattern is named after Cumberland Island, located in off the barrier reef in Georgia. Cool fact: You can see the Dungeness Ruins, remains of Thomas Carnegie’s mansion, as well as loggerhead turtles and feral horses.
