Due South Base Camp

Due South Base Camp Series is a collection of our own patterns built in a relatively basic version. All Base Camp Series knives will be made in 1075 carbon steel and will have our worn-in finish, which is fully oxidized and stone tumbled for corrosion protection. The handle layup is a standardized natural (tan) canvas phenolic liner and pins with walnut handles. These knives are shaped in 3 dimensions just as our standard line is produced but are belt finished to a tactile 220 grit finish. The primary difference between this and our Due South Handmade Series is simply that the handle material selection is standardized and repeatable. Base Camp knives are always 1075 carbon steel, come razor sharp ready for the field and paired with a vegetable tanned leather sheath. All knives come bagged for maximum cost effectiveness.
